The main function of this pump is to suck oil from the oil pan of the gearbox, supply the transmission oil in the torque converter, and lubricate and cool the gearbox. of all gears and clutch plates.

Drive the oil pump. ATF needs the oil pump to provide a certain pressure when it is working, and the oil pump is generally driven by the torque converter housing.
