There is a fixed guide wheel in the middle of the torque converter. When the guide wheel goes through various complex changes, it impacts on the output turbine and drives the turbine to rotate to achieve the effect of increasing the torque. When the torque is increased, the output speed of the turbine will decrease.
The pump wheel of the loader torque converter and the flywheel of the engine are rigidly connected, that is, the input speed of the torque converter and the output speed of the engine are always consistent. There will be a variable speed pump in the torque converter of the loader. The main function of this pump is to suck oil from the oil pan of the gearbox, supply the transmission oil in the torque converter, and lubricate and cool the gearbox. of all gears and clutch plates.
transmit torque. The torque of the engine is transmitted to the driven element of the torque converter through the active element of the torque converter, and then to the transmission through the ATF.
Infinitely variable speed. According to different working conditions, the torque converter can realize the stepless change of speed and torque within a certain range.
Automatic clutch. Because the torque converter uses ATF to transmit power, when the brake pedal is stepped on, the engine will not turn off, which is equivalent to the clutch disengagement; when the brake pedal is lifted, it can start, which is equivalent to the clutch engagement.
Drive the oil pump. ATF needs the oil pump to provide a certain pressure when it is working, and the oil pump is generally driven by the torque converter housing.
