Company Profile:

Formerly known as Shanghai Diesel Engine Factory, it was founded in April 1947, formerly known as Wusong Factory of China Agricultural Machinery Company, and has trial-produced a 5-horsepower gasoline engine. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it was renamed Wusong Machinery Factory, which once mass-produced single-cylinder horizontal 750 rpm 12 horsepower diesel engines. In August 1953, it was officially named Shanghai Diesel Engine Factory and began to design and manufacture diesel engines by itself. In 1958, the first self-designed and completely localized 6135 diesel engine was born here, creating a precedent for the manufacture of medium-power high-speed diesel engines in China. In 1964, the 6135 diesel engine was matched with the first domestic T120 bulldozer and passed the whole machine appraisal. In 1969, it successfully matched the first domestically produced ZL40 loader, which established Shanghai Diesel Corporation as the most important power supplier in the domestic construction machinery industry. In 1993, it was restructured into a joint-stock listed company. At the time of restructuring, the registered capital was 480 million yuan and the total assets were 2.3 billion yuan.
